What has not been mearsured is how many people are unwilling to tell a pollster that they own a gun or have one in the house.

The Dems are feeling the heat of being outgunned. The arms race in America has begun.

Why in the world would anyone “self report.” That is just stupid.

They mention that in the article, and say they cannot tell how much gun ownership changed as opposed to just the willingess to admit it.
That probably is a substantial part of the uptick.
The acceptance of guns, particularly handguns for defensive purposes, is one of the few bright spots in our current climate.

If I owned any weapons, I wouldn't report it to another pollster, to the police, or to any government agency. I'm keeping these babies a secret:

To a pollster? I would. I guess my goal would be to bolster the visible number of pro-gun people.

Dems owning guns isn’t a new situation. Liberals have always had guns and are buying likely at the same rate as any other group. The problem liberals have w/ guns is those they view as inferior can also have them.

A pollster has your identifying information when the poll is taken. One assumes that identifying information is stripped away before the results are tabulated, but there is no legal requirement for that to happen. Because the information exists, there is nothing preventing the misuse of that information.

A strong body makes the mind strong. As to the species of exercises, I advise the gun. While this gives moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprise and independence to the mind. Games played with the ball, and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be your constant companion of your walks. Well, considering I had to fill out numerous forms for every weapon I purchased, and I have a concealed carry permit on top of that, I guess they wouldn’t be finding out anything they didn’t already know.
To: Pollster1
Anything I ever bought on a form 4473, I lost in a very tragic boat accident. The weapons went down with the skif....all hands (guns) lost to the deep.

It depends if they can get the Form 4473s from the individual dealers. They are kept on site, supposed to be in a fireproof file cabinet.
A CCL from Georgia stops the background check so you’re really only exposed to the extent they can browbeat the gun shop.
Additionally, you should be looking to purchasing good weapons in private sales, Craigs List, personals, etc from local papers. Before I lost all my stuff in a tragic boat accident, half of them were private acquisitions.
