I don’t know the particulars of his situation but if this all happened to him in Wisconsin, which was a ‘Rat majority state until recently, it fits the standard ‘Rat MO of personally destroying political opponents by forcing them out of politics and into things like stocking shelves at Target..

I doubt his 2 drunk driving arrests, foreclosure and IRS problems have anything to do with Democrats in Wisconsin trying to destroy him. It just sounds like the guy has a checkered past and there isn't a thing in the world wrong with the media digging up the information and putting it out there. If this was Romney or Obama's campaign manager I don't believe you or anyone else here would be saying the same thing.

I like the idea of a campaign manager who not only can recover from that but also has a personal reason the despise ‘Rats.

Again, if the campaign manager of someone you didn't like had this sort of past, I seriously doubt you'd be so willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. More likely, people would be saying "how could a serious candidate hire a guy like this!".

There is nothing wrong with Fox distributing this story. Cain's campaign manager seems to have a pile of skeletons in his closet - better to get it out now than have it hurt him later. With this kind of past, I am betting there is more to come.

From the article: In 2010, a liberal group, One Wisconsin Now, said it had obtained an audio recording of a tea party meeting that indicated Block was involved in an effort to try to prevent legal voters from casting ballots in Democratic-leaning neighborhoods. A tea party organizer says on the audio that Americans for Prosperity had agreed to pay for sending a mailer to mostly Democratic-leaning minority and student voters and then use any of them returned as undeliverable to support their challenges at the polls on Election Day. One Wisconsin Now called it a notorious voter suppression scheme known as "caging," but law enforcement officials did not investigate.

Come on, Longbow, you've been around here for a while. Do you not recognize typical (and extremely dishonest) libtard attacks? The very words "voter suppression" should start your Spidey senses tingling.

Here he's accused of preventing LEGAL voters from voting. Right there in their own words they show it was for returned mailers indicating that those "legal" voters didn't live where they said they lived, indicating to me that they weren't legal voters at all.

The article also says he has never been prosecuted for this "illegal" stuff he's done. Think about it. Wisconsin BEFORE Scott Walker et al... You think 'Rat run Wisconsin wouldn't have prosecuted him if they actually had anything on him? Hell, they often prosecute knowing they've got nothing and then drop the charges before trial. We've all seen it.

As far as the DUIs, that was bad and he no longer drinks because of it. Also, he's an aid, he's not Cain.

The article makes it sound like a lot of the other stuff happened to him because he was banned from running Wisconsin political campaigns for three years, i.e., his livelihood. Doubt all you like, but that is exactly how the 'Rats play hardball. They identify a threat and they destroy them personally. I think he recovered pretty well. How would you react if you had your life destroyed? Your hypothetical could never happen to an Obama or Romney campaign manager because the Ivy League types take care of each other. I like Perry but I can recognize somebody the 'Rats fear and tried to destroy when I read about them.
