*** He'll suckup to anything for a few votes. ***

Yeah, that sure is proving to be the case, and it's sad. As I really 'wanted to' like him. As first I thought,

'Great! A very-very Pro 2A Conservative who will tell the U.N., the RATS, and GOP beltway RINOs to go to hell. I know how to get America back on track both economically and on the 'World Stage'.'
Well man-o-man, talk abut a let down for me (and all the others). He crashed and burned like the Hindenburg. To boot he's dumb, really dumb. He couldn't spell CAT if you spotted him the 'C' and the 'T'. And now with this Mexican thing in the school, he hides from it 'like a little girl' (no offense to girls). So as I posted, he's one of two things, and both suck.

the truth is that even with his Texas twang he'd fit right in(1) with the RINOs I'm stuck with up here in Illinois. He's just a typical pro pol, who like a Hooker will sell anything they have, it's just a matter of settling on the price.

Perry is a loser and should drop out now.

(1) Folks who live in the Southern half of Illinois, like say in Marion, IL., talk with an accent like any other Southerner.

Your argument is flawed because they pay for their tuition.

Some do get financial aid from the government but..

Students Who Qualified For In-State Benefits Paid Approximately $32.7 Million In Tuition and Fees In FY 2010,

A Net Gain Of $11.07 Million.

According to the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board:

“Institutions of higher education report students who completed an affidavit paid approximately $32.7 million in tuition and fees in Fiscal Year 2010.”

And it would not do them any good to come to Texas from Illinois to get a college education because the in-state tuition law requires that they be a 3 year consecutive resident of Texas leading up to graduating from high school before entering college.

(There are between 12K-14K that take advantage of this law in Texas and not all of those are kids of illegals but in fact are legal immigrants as well.

Now when the border is secured (which Obama and previous Presidents have failed to do), then the in-state tuition law will not be needed any long.

BTW: Perry cannot change that law - only the Texas Legislature can change it. It came up on the chopping block recently and only 2 Tx legislatures were for eliminating the law.
