I have broadband only. I haven’t had cable service since 2009. Its a luxury in these hard times.

Also, who wants to pay for cable when you can stream just about anything you want to watch with a Roku or the like?

Actually, what is killing Cablevision is the fact their poor customer service turns off WAY too many customers. They have a known history of fighting with program providers, and I think the final straw was cutting off the New York City ABC and Fox affiliates during 2010, which resulted in many users in the New York City metro area switching to Verizon FIOS cable TV in areas that offered it.
