Herman Cain Losing Some Steam
LATimes ^ | October 29, 2011 | Robin Abcarian

Herman Cain Losing Some Steam His troubles began once he vaulted into the top tier of Republican candidates, after introducing his 9-9-9 tax plan and winning a straw poll. Now his blunders on abortion, immigration and foreign policy have left political observers scratching their heads.

Herman Cain's blunders have been blamed by his spokesman on fatigue, the fast pace of the campaign and the media taking some answers “out of context.”

By Robin Abcarian October 28, 2011 For months, Herman Cain floated under the radar as other candidates for the Republican presidential nomination were poked, prodded and scrutinized by a voracious national media.

A businessman with no elective office experience, Cain could say anything he wanted — and did — because few were paying attention.

Then Cain unleashed his catchy 9-9-9 tax reform plan. He won a straw poll in Florida and vaulted into the top tier, tying or besting front-runner Mitt Romney in some polls.

That, paradoxically, is when Cain's trouble began.

His statements about abortion seemed contradictory. An electrified border fence: joke or no joke? He fumbled a softball question about negotiating with Al Qaeda. He mocked Uzbekistan, calling it "Ubeki-beki-beki-beki-stan-stan."

Liberal article that attacks Hermain Cain for being human. Better him than the inhuman obamination of American desolation dwelling in the White House.

I’m not a Cain guy, but where does this fool quote any data on this? It’s his opinion and it’s wrong. Herman blunders and we laugh because he is not a politition. That’s a good thing. I’m even starting to like the hat.

LA Times has a tape of Obama speaking at a farewell party for terrorist financier and Arafat supporter Rashid Khalidi. Wanna know what Obama said at the fundraiser? So do I! But the LAT won’t release the tape or publish its contents.

But they will report on some obscure comments of a primary candidate.

[Santorum has failed to gain traction]

A shame indeed for American conservatives that the best candidate is not getting traction. I do like Herman Cain and believe he would be an honest and patriotic, job producing law and order, build a southern fence and go after the nations that are destroying America using useful idiots like obamanation and his useful idiot friends.

And we are witnessing exhibit A in the methods of the media in destroying a conservative leader. Repeat falsehoods often until they stick or until the candidate does something to reinforce the narrative.

Yeh LA Slimes surely has its finger on the Cain campaign pulse.. NOT! Even CBS polls show Cain with the lead at this point. Grassroots are where the accurate measurements occur from this campaign season.

He is not losing strength, he is gaining it...this ass is another hit job, only because he is in the lead..

The media's job is to keep shooting down the GOP front runner to make it seem like none of the candidates are qualified for Obama's job.

"One word, Ma'am," he said, coming back from the fire; limping, because of the pain. "One word. All you've been saying is quite right, I shouldn't wonder. I'm a chap who always liked to know the worst and then put the best face I can on it. So I won't deny any of what you said. But there's one thing more to be said, even so. Suppose we have only dreamed, or made up, all those things--trees and grass and sun and moon and stars and Aslan himself. Suppose we have. Then all I can say is that, in that case, the made-up things seem a good deal more important than the real ones. Suppose this black pit of a kingdom of yours is the only world. Well, it strikes me as a pretty poor one. And that's a funny thing, when you come to think of it. We're just babies making up a game, if you're right. But four babies playing a game can make a play-world which licks your real world hollow. That's why I'm going to stand by the play-world. I'm on Aslan's side even if there isn't any Aslan to lead it. I'm going to live as like a Narnian as I can even if there isn't any Narnia. So, thanking you kindly for our supper, if these two gentlemen and the young lady are ready, we're leaving your court at once and setting out in the dark to spend our lives looking for Overland. Not that our lives will be very long, I should think; but that's small loss if the world's as dull a place as you say."

The anti-Cain propaganda is intensifying. It's going to get brutal.

Herman Cain is America's best hope and the Left's worst nightmare (which, of course, is no coincidence).

IMO FWIW it would be a good thing if Herman Cain became president.
If only for this reason ...

The other side got their "black guy" He showed us what a "demorat plantation house ... " was all about.

His shuck and jive snake oil pie in the sky BS exemplifies what the left sells to their black members. It is beyond me why those people buy into that crap ... but I degress

In direct contast ... Herman Cain demonstates that every willing hard working and self respecting person "note that I didn't say black person" can be whatever they aspire too ... if afforded the freedoms our forefathers sacrified and gave so much for.

Without those freedoms ... EVERYONE and EVERYBODY is nothing more than a slave.

Bears repeating!!

What a freaking JOKE the media is! Slamming the conservative for his answer that THEY didn’t understand (we did), and covering up for the liberal. An f’ing joke. They’ve gone so far past bias that it’s hysterical.

No big deal. The one they did on Perry is funny and the Romney one is OK but the Herman Cain spoof is the best one yet.
