A great steak isnt the only thing U.S. Senate candidate Craig Miller knows how to fire up, if Fridays crowd at the Boca Raton Republican Club was any indication.
The former CEO of Ruths Chris steakhouse surprised a few guests when a speech about his humble beginnings as a dishwasher quickly led to strong words of advice to young people and protesters, who, Miller said, believe their government has failed to take care of them.

I’ve met him twice now. I think there’s a lot to like about this guy.
He has offended people who wouldn’t consider voting for him in the first place. Sure as hell did not offend me.
“The government should pay my student loans because I don’t think I should have to.” vs. “Get off your ass and get a job.”
I know which one I side with.
Miller would be my second choice.
Mike McCalister is my first choice.
Must be somewhere in "What is to be Done" (Lenin)
“Get a job.”
Ummm....is nobody noticing that there are now a lot more applicants than jobs?
Check out the stats on unemployment and underemployment, multiply by about three to adjust for government lying, and I think you’ll see that there just aren’t enough jobs to go around in this depression.
As hard as she tried, she could not line up a job in her field before college graduation, so we attended her graduation this spring, then loaded up what we could fit in her Honda Civic and shipped the rest by UPS to home, where she at least had a couple of leads.
The day after we got home, one of the leads turned into an interview and, by the end of the following week, it turned into a job. Not ideal. The pay was low, the hours irregular, there were no health insurance benefits, but at least it was in her field.
After several months of doing her best, and trying other leads, one company was interested enough to fly her to Atlanta for an interview. Unfortunately, the competition was keen and she didn't get that job. She came home discouraged, but not beaten.
She landed another interview not long after and this time she got the job-- much better hours, much shorter commute and benefits included. She started today, six months and one far less than ideal job after graduation later.
Needless to say, she didn't waste any time whining or occupying Wall Street in those six months.
And there likely wont be jobs for at least 5 years.
But, but, but I don’t want to wash dishes, or sweep the floor, or bus tables or really anything having to do with manual labor. I have a degree from ABC123 University and really think I would be best starting out near or at the top. Kinda thinking a salary around $105,000 will help me get by.
For all you people who have no sense of humor....this is called sarcasm!
Let me guess. That's A Racist Comment.
There is a difference between those looking for work and those embracing a 'career' as professional unwashed protester.
BTW, congratulations...I expect she's a chip off the ole block. (You)
If a young, mobile person if willing to work hard, they will find a job.
It's much more difficult for people with homes and families looking for work near their town, and those are the people I really feel for.
He just got MY vote!!!
And what Miller, Herman Cain, and other need to remember is that many of those people with homes and families sympathize with the Wall-Street-screwed-me message (even as they also recognize that the average Occupier can't make that claim).
