See it ALL for yourself.

Was Governor Rick Perry really drunk this past weekend during a speech in New Hampshire?

I’m afraid the Perry haters only see out of their blind eye.

Not again.
No, I don’t think he was drunk. I think he was trying too hard to be entertaining and likeable.

The good thing is, is this means that they still think Perry is a threat.

He'd make a great president.

Drunk my assfay. He was in a loose and passionate mode in front of a friendly audience. I only wish he’d ditch his handlers and talk like this all the frickin’ time.

Oh no, can't have the truth get out. We have to show only the parts that can be twisted into a sick attack on a good man. Let's stomp all over a good Christian man, let's smear the guy who has done more for pro-life causes then any other.

I don't watch FOX anymore, as a matter of fact I'm thinking of saving about a hundred dollars a month by getting rid of Direct TV altogether.

The Perry haters had better be careful what they wish for - Herman Cain is imploding minute by minute - Perry wasn’t drunk. One by one - each of our conservative candidates are being destroyed.

Who is behind this? I believe it is Romney.

But this might not be a problem for Cain people, Mr. Cain has always - in my view - been running for Romney’s VP. It never has been a serious candidacy - but now he will be tossed by the wayside.

Rick Perry is the only candidate that has the means to defeat Romney, but I’m afraid a lot of Cain’s supporters will go for anybody but Rick - they hate him that much.

No, I don’t think he was drunk at all. But it was a strange, embarrassing performance.

“if this is all they have on Governor Rick Perry, if that’s ALL they can even find, we are in really, really good shape”

Between this and the blind-eye comment you people are getting delusional.

Probably took too many pain meds for his recent back surgery.

NO, he was NOT drunk, just overcompensating a bit trying to give a relaxed speech. People need to look at the whole video.

OK...this is CLASSIC. I've read the comments on this and other threads and some of you have a very hard time being objective.

I was Parry supporter before I found out more about Cain. There. I said it. I live in Texas...So I know all about his "warts." Despite all of that, I still support him as my #2, behind Cain. Either one of them to beat Romney.

I said all of that so you all would know where I am coming from: First...NO...he's not drunk. For those who say he is...perhaps your anti-Perry bias is showing and you are, as my dad always said, "hunting boogers."

Now for the other half of you...the Perry supporters: If you can't look at that and say that its a little uncomfortable to watch...then you are showing YOUR bias. Of COURSE its uncomfortable to watch. He's trying to be funny...loose...or something and it's icky. So maybe it's not to you...but trust me...to most NORMAL people out here in the real world...it is...and at the end of the day...there are more of us going to the polls than there are of you.

So while some of you may try REAL HARD to say nothing is wrong with it...you are in the minority and performances like this will not help him. Just like with Cain...is there anything WRONG with your staffer smoking a cig on a commercial? No. Is it HELPFUL to the cause? Certainly not.

I happened to see this on imus while I was changing channels. It seemed to me he was having fun with the crowd. Anyway, it's telling how Fox starts looking to trash Perry the second Cain gets in trouble because he is inconsistent in his explanation. Fox really is in the tank for Romney.

I didn't have to watch the whole clip. I saw enough yesterday from the spliced version. He's just relaxed and having fun. If you don't like his mannerisms and expressions I can live with that. But didn't bother me at all. If anything it shows he has some personality and diversity on a stage.

The local news where I live does a nightly smear story on him. Every weeknight.

I saw nothing that COULD indicate Perry was drunk. Passionate he is, but Drunk NO.

He has so many good points, especially strong in discussing Energy, he needs to include EPA in this same debate.

In future debate, he needs to IGNORE Romney (who is a non entity in this race anyway), treat Romney as if he were not in the room, do not give him any opportunity to refute via calling him out on something he said or did. That only gives Romney another minute or two to speak. IGNORE ROMNEY.

Speak to the people, straight out and precise on ENERGY & EPA,and getting Gov't. out of our business, that is what we want.

Keep your voice up, don't go down to the whisper/preacher mode and keep your hand gestures to a minimum.

This was a good speech, and he was not drunk.

BTW: I still have not picked my candidate, and Perry is still in my sights as well as Newt and Cain.

FYI - Gov. Perry has serious back issues and requires powerful pain meds to control the pain associated to degenerative disc disease. If anyone has noticed he wears a brace for his back support while on his feet. It is worn under the shirt and helps him to maintain neutral posture. His actions may be the result of his pain meds.
