LOL @ GOP cannibals.
Losers.
From Wiki (sort of):
Michael Herman had anticipated the plot by way of a warning from his father Free Republic, who intimated that the person who approached him about the peace summit harassment charge would be the family traitor.
I guess I can finally post my opinion about who leaked this story: Rick Santorum.
If you go to Santorum’s site, you’ll see the only GOP candidate he is attacking by name is Herman Cain.
Santorum still has a page on his site where he displays a question asked of Cain (”What’s your position on abortion?”), but beneath it has the answer to a totally different question (”If your grandchild was raped, would you force them to raise the baby?”). Santorum has an outright lie about Cain on his website, there’s no other way to put it.
Santorum has said he believes he can get back in the race if he can win Iowa (win Iowa, then build off that win to build momentum in latter states). It’s the same strategy Huckabee used in 2008.
If Santorum doesn’t win Iowa, then even he admits he’s done. He’s put all his eggs in the Iowa basket.
To win Iowa, Santorum has to not only have a strong ground game (which he has done), but he has to make sure there is no other dominate conservative candidate—that means he’s got to take out Cain prior to Iowa.
Santorum has already shown he is willing to outright lie about Cain; he has to eliminate Cain to have any chance of winning Iowa; and he has to win Iowa or drop out. The person that has the most to gain if Cain falters (and the most to lose if Cain remains strong) is Rick Santorum.
The best time for Romney’s campaign to drop this would be AFTER Iowa. A Cain win would likely leave the “anybody but Romney” crowd without a single alternative under those circumstances.
Perry would also benefit more if the news was released after Iowa, as a Cain win would mortally wound Santorum’s and Bachmann’s campaign. Perry could then position himself as the “anybody but Romney” alternative (although it would be a long shot, because he is currently so far back, but it wouldn’t be as long a shot as it is now).
The most likely one behind the Cain smear is the Rick Santorum campaign.
That’s my opinion, but I logically it makes sense.
If this Aid wanted to advise Mr. Cain then he obviously hired into the wrong campaign. What a puss!
You are right on and Rick Sanitarium just threw gas on the fire.
i think i am going to throw him some extra. i am a regular donater
He wants a confession from the black man.
1. Cain
2. Bachmann
3. Gingrich
4. Perry
That finishes me with Santorum who I like. Anybody who doesn’t condemn this slime should be dismissed.
Pray for America
FURS
Just another reason why Santorum is at 2% and why people dismiss him as sanctimonious.
No one is even sure why the women were fired. Since the records are secret, a few Cain haters might assume it was sexually related. It’s likely the women were parted with severance pay because of poor performance and/or causing disruptions in the workplace. The accusations against Cain was enough to warrant getting rid of them the easiest way possible. It’s even likely that the women ordered the documents sealed, not the company.
Just gave $9.99 this morning, my approval of 999.
Never, ever was he on my list.
Would not vote for him for anything, ever.
Santorum wasn’t ever on my list.
A losing US Senator, (of all political offices)!
If he actually thought he had a chance at the nomination, then his judgment is too fanciful for POTUS and CIC regardless!
LOL.
Shame on Santorum. It’s time for him to fold his tent and go home.
Spare me sanctimonious Santorum’s sneering s_ _ t.
Cain related exactly what happened. It was a non event. Rick needs to STFU and focus on why he is at the bottom of the ladder.
