It's curious to me Santorum's exclusive focus on Cain.

Where are you getting that? Santorum doesn't seem to have any issues with punching any of the other contenders in the face when the spirit moves him. Have you seen any of the debate? He is the one that got the ball rolling on the gang up against Mittens last time.

Thanks to the GOPbot slime merchants like Rove et al, Cain had his big fund raising day ever yesterday.

This stupidity by the GOP machine may just have handed the nomination to Cain.

Don't count on it and the way Cain is with facts don't count on him having had the best fundraising day ever.

Cain spouts off things from the hip and when they get investigated he backs down. Been that way from the day he called for electric fence that can kill. Just Sunday on Face the Nation he called for...wait for it..non electrified strategic fencing, boots on the ground and survielence.

Cain is winging it and if you think the majority of Republicans are going to rally around a guy because he's getting picked on or because he's "cool" you're crazy. Most Republicans are not as emotional as you think.

You need to read my post carefully. When I said Santorum's exclusive focus on Cain, what was meant was not that Santorum was ignoring the other candidates; I meant Santorum's exclusive focus on Cain to the exclusion of Cain's anonymous accusers.

Curious Santorum wants Cain to be more forthcoming, but does not call for the anonymous accusers to do the same. If Santorum is so concerned about this matter that he issues a statement, then you would think he'd call for the anonymous accusers to reveal their true identities so the rest of us can investigate their backgrounds to judge their credibility and get to the bottom of this.

Yet, Santorum does not call on the anonymous accusers to come forward. Is his failure to do so an indication that Santorum already knows the true identity of Cain's anonymous accusers?

I don't know. Do you? It sure would help if Santorum were a little more forthcoming about what knowledge he has or doesn't have of the accusers.

Santorum puts me in mind of an ill-tempered middle-aged woman who can’t believe she’s having to say what she’s saying to you because you can’t read her mind.

What does it matter what Santorum knows about any of this? Why would he know anymore than we do? Are you accusing him of planting this story? If anyone in the race has anything to gain from this it would be either Perry or Romney. As it stands, this is a straight up hit piece by the MSM and would be off the radar today if Cain didn't change his story in a days time. Even still Cain looks like he came clean last night and by the end of the week this will be old news. Santorums point was just on getting ahead of these stories so they don't sink a candidate when it counts, the General Election.

Frankly, I don't know. It would help, though, if he were a little more forthcoming about this whole thing :)

Santorum just lost all credability. They should all support Cain, cause they will be next on the media’s list..Idiots....they don’t have to support for president, support for being a fellow republican...Shout out to the media we are not going to fall for your shit anymore...

First he sounded like a petulent brat over the media merely reporting the fine speech Perry made on the middle east a couple months back...

Santorum is a sore losing, cheap shot candidate.

So what. Lots of people were for Romney in ‘08. I voted for him against the other two losers who were out front, Huckles and McLame. Cain even backed Romney in ‘08. Don’t you remember the bucket of $#!t we had to choose from? He was the sanest choice in the Primaries back then.

He is at 2% and has no chance, he either gets out now and endorses Romney like he always does because he is so good on life or he stays in, does Romney’s dirty work, keeps attacking Cain, and then endorses Romney AGAIN...stalking horse whinny whinny whinny

The last argument of people without an argument. Everyone is a stalking horse and then juvenile name calling.

You keep going after Santorum as a RINO POS when he has the most Conservative voting record of anyone running period. 88% ACU voting record from a blue state. Better than Senators coming from a solid red state.

You keep pimpin’ for Cain like he is as clean as the wind driven snow. You are aware that Cain lost on social issues in his Senate Primary and that his is the only one to not touch Romney in this fight. Not one glove. Why don’t you explain Cains overflowing endorcement of Mittens last go round? He went so far to say that he would happily be Romney’s VP and would never be Perry’s. If I was to go by your flawed logic, I would be rallying around Bachmann a couple months ago and clamoring for Cain to bail in deference to her. Election change fast and no one seems to be out of contention yet judging by the fluidity of the race.

Santorum lost any chance of me voting for him when he stated (on Bill Butthead's radio show) that freedom means being free to do what's right. And guess who defines what's right ?

He was also a lousy guest host. But that little zinger took the cake.
