Ron Paul is too libertarian for my tastes. I’m a conservative and I would never vote for him.

The thing about Paul is that he comes across as a different sort of pol but in reality he’s just another Washington game player, performing for a different audience.

You understand don’t you that the founders were conservatives AND libertarians don’t you?

Property rights, the freedom to defend such, and the freedom to move about and speak and associate freely are central to both positions.

There are way too many establishment Republicans and even moreso Democrats who are just too willing to wittle away at those right when pushing their agendas.

Unfortunately, Romney is right up their on that list. Yet your concern is Ron Paul?

How about next time you be more specific when discounting Ron Paul. I for example am ever watchful on Ron Paul when it comes to controlling our borders - cause the Anarchist aspect of some elements of the Libertarian camp lend to “open borders” support.

...I’m just waiting for that foot to fall. Until then, Ron Paul is not a concern...until then.
