>I’ve lived in this state all my life, 61 years, and I’ve yet to see an average citizen carrying a firearm openly when not hunting.

It’s not too late to start.

No but municipalities and private businesses can decide if they want to admit concealed carry owners. That’s their right. In practice, it won’t be a problem any more than it turned out to be a problem in any other RTC state.

I have no problem with the businesses. I have the first amendment right to speak my mind on whatever issue I wish, but I have no problem with a restaurant saying I can't do so at the top of my voice from the top of one of their tables during dinner hour.

The municipalities are different. They don't actually OWN anything. They're just allowed to USE facilities provided to them at no cost by the taxpayers, who may be legally REQUIRED to visit those facilities from time to time. Deciding which of their Constitutional rights the owners of the building may bring along with them on these visits is unacceptable.

“not more than $500 or not more than 30 days in jail or both.”
