The thing that folks like about HC is that he is NOT and does not act like a politician. Just a man.
A lot of people like that Cain is an amateur, and responds to things like a person with no experience. Just as he responds to so many questions.
It is the year of the ignorant and untrained, apparently. Some conservatives have decided that the biggest problem with Obama as President is that Obama was just too experienced for the job, and we need someone with less experience than Obama.
Most aren't looking for "just a man" Rio...they are looking for a President...one above the ordianary and exceptional in ability to take the highest office in our land. I don't want another obama...but someone who can walk the walk...Cain is a good man but he will need propping up in Washington as he really is quite green.
