The Greek PM wants to give the Greek people the democratic right to decide if they wish to leave the Euro-zone but the world establishment doesn’t want the Greek people to have that right.

Given that the EU seems to be teetering, it doesn't seem prudent to hold a referendum (which, I read somewhere yesterday, can take several weeks to organize and pull off).

As for the Greek PM, it seems like he was just trying to shift responsibility for a difficult decision.

I don’t know what the heck their PM thinks he’s doing, but if the Greeks allow the EU to shove a puppet gov’t down their throats, they can kiss what’s left of their freedom goodbye.
