“In an interview with Michele Bachmann on Friday’s NBC Today, co-host Matt Lauer’s first four questions pushed Bachmann to comment on the Herman Cain controversy: “As the only woman in this race, I just would like your perspective on all this....Do you think you are hearing the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth from Herman Cain?”
Bachmann repeatedly told Lauer: “I don’t have any comment on this particular issue.” However, Lauer persisted: snip
Bachmann attempted to move to substantive policy issues: “That’s something that you all will have to focus on. That’s not for me. I’m focusing on Iowa and I’m focusing on turning the economy around and creating millions of high-paying jobs.” Lauer was undeterred: “Alright, I won’t ask you on the specifics anymore, though, but I will ask you about the comments that Herman Cain has made that he’s being singled out because he is a conservative African-American. Do you think there is a race element to these accusations?”
Once more trying to transition to issues, Bachmann replied: “You know, again, I don’t have any comment on this....It’s really desperate out here in Iowa, I want you to know that, it’s really desperate, and people want to focus on what’s very important right now, which is the economy.” Lauer finally relented: “Alright, let’s talk about your plan for taxes then. I can get a hint and I’ll take it.”’
Good for Michele Bachmann, and I’d like to see more of this!
I especially liked when she said: “It’s really desperate out here in Iowa, I want you to know that, it’s really desperate, and people want to focus on what’s very important right now, which is the economy.”
“I agree with Bachmann. She’s one gutsy lady.”
And she’s a great leader! It was so impressive how she got thousands, and thousands, from around the country to demonstrate against Obamacare with just a few days’ notice!

We’d all have better opportunities with a President Bachmann, and if she doesn’t become POTUS, I hope she replaces Boehner as Speaker of the House. I don’t dislike Boehner as a person, but he’s just not tough enough for the job, and Bachmann IS!
Sun, I can’t disagree with any of your posts. Bachmann would make obuttface look more the fool than he already does. If she gets the nomination, she will have my check.

He’s no newbie, he’s an old re-tread that was already zotted at least 3 times by JR. Remember non-sequitur? He’s backkkkk... now bashing Bachman, bashing Cain, doing all the things he did before, his past posts speak for themselves...... NOT a conservative. He’s too predictable to hide on here because there is one obsession (CW threads) that draw him back and all one has to do is wait until he shows up on those threads and outs himself again. He did, he outed himself.
