Sure sounds like amnesty to me.

This is the same guy who gave illegal aliens in-state tuition rates, while if any of us Americans tried to send a kid to a Texas university, we’d get to pay the out-of-state rates.

I was very tempted to say that my last kid, who had to pay out-of-state tuition rates in at the U of Oregon, was an illegal alien, so they’d charge her less. Well, that was liberal Oregon. But Texas? Obviously Perry’s pals in the government/big-business coalition want cheap labor, and the taxpayers can foot the bills.

If you need to send your kid to Houston Community College, have your kid move to Texas and establish residency for ONE year.

If you are Mexican, you’ll need to sneak across the border before your kid is in 10th grade and enroll that kid in a Texas high school. Once your kid is graduated, you’ll need to go down to the INS and put the kid on a path to citizenship. Then, and only then, your kid can get in-state tuition.

See the difference?
