>> “Cain has not handled this well” <<

.
No, you’re not handling this well.

You twist the facts like all trolls do. Cain was honest, and Perry is a slimeball that is happy to hire other slimeballs. Too bad you don’t like that.

Just want your read on it.

See, you have maintained all along the accusations were nothing more than a smear job and innuendo. And yet more and more information keeps emerging that makes some of the innuendo fact.

You know, no payment, well small payment, well years salary. It may grow from there.

You can name call me all you want. That doesn't take away from the fact that Cain's having to deal with a huge issue. I have donated to Herman Cain, so you can take that nonsense somewhere else.

I'll also add that I'm not afraid to admit when my preferred candidate screws up. I've done so on here. I am capable of being objective. But, you go on ahead and think that Cain is having a great week, and that he'd love to be discussing this issue rather than talking about 999.

>> “That’s pretty dazzling, since Cain’s settlements are actually a matter of record and there was clearly some kind of problem.” <<

.
Yes, the problem is that you like to twist reality.

Who do you speak for?

Cain’s “settlements” are actually not a matter of record, they are a matter of recent fabrication by Perry’s scummers.

Don’t just mindlessly cling to your Perry campaign approved talking points. Address the facts pointed out to you for a change

You keep saying I'm accusing Cain of doing something without any proof. What in the ever living hell are you referring to? I'm not accusing him of anything. I have only given my opinion on his handling of this issue. It has nothing to do with the accusation itself made by the women.

You are making such a great impression on me...NOT. LOOK, let all the facts come out...waive the censor agreement on this woman and let her tell her side of what happened. The American voters will decide...NOT you. Get it all out in public and IF the woman and others involved are liars than Cain will be vindicated. OK? what are you Mr Censorship? trying to shut up anyone that posts anything you do not want questioned? this is FREE REPUBLIC. Sooner or later the facts will come out ..one way or the other and btw...I do hope this is all a lie but can’t say that one way or another yet

Again, provide the proof.

But notice no actual fire just smoke. Accusations, hearsay and rumor.

It is a pathetic smear job and the fact that the accusers are all very careful to NOT do anything that puts them in line for a slander suit should be a warning sign to the media that they are being spun.

as I said....waive the agreement of silence and lets get this over with...the woman should speak and we will decide. BTW there is rumored to be MORE than one woman. All dirty or clean laundry should be aired before we vote.

You really NEED to listen to what Cain said not what the smearbots are telling you. "I hope there was no settlement or if there was one it was small" That was Cain's VERY first statment Tell you what. Within 1 minute tell me exactly what you did at work 12 years ago?

See? Real easy to demand perfect recall from a candidate when you have no interest in the facts.

NO one can live up to that sort of "you must have perfect memory the second we ask you a question or we will accuse you of "changing your story" when you recall additional details" standard being applied to Cain by the smearbots.

>> “Well, they didn’t make up that two women filed harassment complaints. They didn’t make up that there was a settlement.” <<

.
There is nothing in any record to indicate anything you have stated.

Its all recent fabrication by Perry operatives that had some part in whatever did happen, but nothing on paper anywhere. that’s why they are trying to drag the woman out in the open. Without the woman lying they have nothing at all.

Nice try. Repeating hearsay and rumor is not evidence.

WHERE is the proof? Not just rumor and hearsay and accusations. Provide proof.

Its not a “huge issue” to honest, intelligent people; Its an issue to jerks that want to make something out of it that just isn’t there, like you.

There is no written record of any of it.

Well where do we begin. No money paid. Now we know money was paid. The campaign said "Dredging up thinly sourced allegations stemming from Mr. Cain's tenure as the Chief Executive Officer at the National Restaurant Association in the 1990s, political trade press are now casting aspersions on his character and spreading rumors that never stood up to the facts. Since Washington establishment critics haven't had much luck in attacking Mr. Cain's ideas to fix a bad economy and create jobs, they are trying to attack him in any way they can. Sadly, we've seen this movie played out before - a prominent Conservative targeted by liberals simply because they disagree with his politics." Those thinly sourced allegations have now been acknowledged by the candidate and the campaign.

But they are still called by you accusations, hearsay and rumor.

Even Mr. Cain made some accusations based on hearsay and rumor and accused the Perry campaign of being behind the leaks.

So contrast that allegation against the spokespersons allegation it was the liberals. Which is it? Liberals or peer group conservatives?

The facts have come out.

The fact is that there were no settlements.

The fact is that there were attempts to extort the association, and those attempts failed, but Wilson didn’t know that they failed, and assumed that settlements were made.

Youare willingly spreading falsehood.

.
No, if you had been paying attention to the real parts of this you would know that no money was paid for any “settlement.”

Wilson fabricated everything that is presently out there.

He guessed that there would have been a settlement but the association was too smart for them, and blew them off.

Where was Cain’s proof on Perry? Herman Cain’s chief-of-staff Mark Block walked back accusations that Rick Perry’s campaign was responsible for the leak of accusations of sexual harassment during the candidate’s time as president of the National Restaurant Association, saying that he would “accept” the claim by a former staffer now affiliated with the Perry campaign that he was not the leak.

“Until we get all the facts, I’m just going to say that we accept what Mr. Anderson has said, and we want to move on with the campaign,” Block said on Fox News.
