Excellent letter, Lloyd. The smear campaign is in full swing and what irritates me most is the number of supposed conservatives, both well known and not so, who have jumped on the wagon, including some here who do so as an opportunity to advance their own candidate. We don’t need the left to destroy us when we’re so good at it ourselves.

Herman was recently asked when and why he decided to run for this nomination and thus seek the White House position. His answer was pure Herman: He decdied when he saw how badly Barack Obama was running this Republic and what Obama's policies were doing and would do to this nation of free enterprise.

Herman Cain is sincere and very capable. That he would tolerate the vermin now snapping at his heels tells me he is also a greater man than I, because I'd have verbally dismissed with exctreme prejudice a few of these vermin and walked away from this obscenity by now. ... And I'm still a Newt supporter.

Wonderful letter, sir! This statement here gets to the heart of why I'm not allowing this latest mess to dissuade me from considering a Herman Cain candidancy:

Along with our earned political sophistication comes total awareness of the pathetically transparent attempt to knock-you-out of the presidential race via ridiculously weak charges of sexual harassment. Again, displaying their arrogance and shameful hypocrisy, the same people who are attacking you rallied around their beloved poster boy of “proven” sexual harassment, Bill Clinton.
