Riiiiight...
You can blame Perry. You can blame his supporters. You can blame the media. You can blame Romney, Obama and the mayor of Chicago. You can blame me. You can blame my mamma.
But at some point you and some others on this site have to face reality (just like I had to face it as a Perry supporter and it turned out the guy I was supporting was a dimwit):
Cain essentially brought this on himself.
He could have been ready.
He should have been ready.
He should have had a single, well-prepared script, ready well in advance.
He should have stuck to that script.
Instead he dilly-dally, willy-waggled, blamed Perry, took it back, said he forgot then he remembered.
Bull Sh*t!!!!
Grow a pair, Herman!
Let to shut your f*ing mouth until you have something substantive to say and then STICK TO IT.
It’s not just this issue. He’s got a big, big problem with saying one thing on day 1 and then walking it back on day 2.
A big big problem.
And if you can’t see that then, fine. Blame the media. Blame Romney. Blame Bachmann. Blame NRO. Blame Hillary. Blame the president of ubekibekibekistanstan.
But until Cain straightens up and flies right, all that blaming is worth about as much as a “heartless” comment from Perry.
Poor little thing all up set because the last ditch effort by perry has failed. No evidence, no sources, no names, no nothing, produce something are sit down mr. Perrywinkle.
My guess is that you have missed the thread where Cain’s chief of staff says he doesn’t believe it was Perry.

Produce something? Am I the one that accused another campaign of doing something and then THE NEXT DAY took it back?
Am I a candidate for prez?
No, no, and no.
I’m not running. I’m not sticking my big size 11 square in my mouth each and every day?
Who is? Who is? Who is?
Maybe Cain was at a luncheon and as he reached for his wallet to get his credit card to pay the bill he said Excuse me while I whip this out.
BWA HAA HAA HAAAAAAAAAA!
YOU are not running for President.
It doesn’t matter what YOU said.
CAIN is running for President.
Despite what he obviously thinks, and what many here obviously think, it MATTERS WHAT HE SAYS.
Look, you accuse me of being for Perry. I’m telling you, I’m not anymore. I know Perry is a lost cause.
I am leaning towards Cain. Who else is there, really?
Unless I write-in Palin.
But seriously, if WE don’t call him on his mistakes early in the game he has NO chance of making corrections.
He’s not like Perry. Perry’s flaws are unrecoverable. You can’t un-dim-wit yourself.
Cain’s flaws are recoverable, but they are flaws. And he better see them and fix them before it’s too late.
And it doesn’t help if people like you praise every mistake he makes.
Paranoid much? You really think only Romney benefits if Cain tanks? Come on. Take a pill.
Why was Cain himself accusing Perry then? Heard Cain on the news saying just that this morning.
That's misconduct?? I was waving my arms around today while talking to a woman at work. Oh, crap! I could be in trouble.
BTW, my wife knows a woman whose husband got in major trouble because his department at work had finished a project with great success. He was going around hugging everyone. One of the women ended up getting the guy fired! He didn't have a history of bothering women.
According to a Republican consultant who use work with Cain at the NRA, a man interviewed on Oklahoma talk radio yesterday with an excerpt played on Hannity's show, the actions he witnessed are much worse than that. He says if the woman he witnessed being treated inappropriately by Cain comes forward, Cain's candidacy is finished. Yes, I know this is from the hated Politico, but they're merely reporting what the man stated he witnessed first hand: http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1111/67473.html.
I think the allegations against Cain are much worse than what we're seeing. We're seeing the top of the iceberg, not what's still hidden from view under the surface. This man has become a risk to our beating Obama next year and prudence dictates not taking all this so lightly.
Yes, many GOP primary voters will dismiss it all of being of little consequence, though I suspect if Obama were similarly accused we'd be calling for his impeachment, but general election voters, esp. independents and swing voters as well as female voters, are not quite so likely to brush this all off. That could hand Obama a second term. I'm not willing to risk that. We have what, 7 other candidates to chose from who don't have this lead weight on their shoulders?
Do we really want to play defense during the general election campaign next year when we have every opportunity and reason to be on the offensive against a horribly failed Obama. I want the election to be on Obama's record, not swatting flies with these allegations and potentially others that could arise. Cain's snappy debate retorts aren't enough for me to make him worth the risk of putting Obama back into the White House for 4 more years. I see nothing else Cain brings to the table, including any political experience we condemned Obama for not having but now don't seem to mind that Cain has even less than Obama did. And that inexperience is showing now in the utterly feckless manner Cain and his people have handled this scandal. We'd never accept this many changing stories from a Democratic candidate. Why are we okay with Cain doing so?
Flame away.
Keep swinging...
“Dems will attack his 9-9-9 plan telling middle class voters under Cain’s plan you’ll be paying the same percentage income tax as Exxon Mobil, and oh by the way your grocery, gas and clothing bills along with everything else will be going up 9% will kill him.”
That is demonstrably wrong...aside from the fact that Cain clearly stated that 9-9-9 was a starting point, not something set in stone.
One thing you clearly don’t understand is that things won’t be “going up 9%”.
