Apparently, you missed Cain's "clarification". Haven't you learned yet that almost everything Cain says comes with a later "clarification"?

I don't know how you missed this one -- it is right in this very article:

"I am almost certain that I did. … This is why we want to get off this merry-go-round," Cain said.

You are right, earlier he sounded certain. Now he is only "almost certain". Maybe by tomorrow he'll say he was just joking. Who knows with Cain.

When he was having trouble explaining his simple abortion position, I mentioned my new rule that I would wait for Cain's 4th statement on anything before I felt I really knew what he believed.
