Nope they went to press with accusations they wanted to believe. They thought the accusations would be enough and are shocked when people rallied to Cain instead of believing the smear attacks

They're waiting for Cain to trip up with a statement that is different than those on the sealed accusations. That's why Cain needs to cease commenting on this situation until these accusers step up and put their stuff on the table. I can't think of a more chicken-sh*t approach than firing potshots from the shadows.
