As Islamists increasingly look to real estate as a means of planting their flag and forwarding their agenda, it is worth noting the revelations that depict some of America's most prominent Islamist-leaning developers and property managers as agents of urban squalor.
An October 23 article in the New York Post reports that the head of the controversial mosque project near Ground Zero "can't take care of a rat-ridden apartment building with just 14 units":
Sharif El-Gamal, the main developer behind the mosque, has nearly 400 open violations that he has refused to fix despite a court order. His company owes the city $61,633 in fines, fees, and taxes for the property at 1835 Amsterdam Ave.

The letter said my home would be auctioned for taxes in 7 weeks if I did not pay all the taxes, penalties, & interest due 2 weeks prior to auction.
The problem was resolved, but I will never do business with Wachovia Mortgage again.
My point: Why don't these rules apply to tax delinquent, out of compliance, slum lords?
Probably they know - or count on - you being a responsible person - and slum lords - well - the name says it all...I always wonder how those types skirt the justice system...it’s like they are looked at with favor by politicians for taking on something that no one else will...but the reality is totally different...
glad to hear you got things straight - I think banks and other financial institutions count on people like you and me to balance the others that don’t do their share!
