First recall effort against Gov. Scott Walker formally launched Friday [WI]

Madison - Paperwork to recall Gov. Scott Walker has been filed with state elections officials.

The state Government Accountability Board said the request was filed Friday, the first possible date of the recall. To succeed in forcing a recall election of the Republican governor, organizers must gather 540,000 signatures in 60 days.

The petition was filed by David Brandt of Muskego in Waukesha County and the "Close Friends to Recall Walker" committee. Brandt said in the government filing that he was registering a recall committee to "fulfill my friend's last request."

The state Democratic Party is starting its recall Walker effort on Nov. 15.

But since the petition has been filed now, Walker can begin receiving unlimited political donations from supporters to use for certain specific spending.

The best damn thing to happen to Wisconsin in decades and they are trying to get rid of him?

It must be all that raw hamburger...

****

Or - when served with fresh rye bread - the delicacy is euphemistically called "Cannibal Sandwiches"

Think Union thuggery in all its cowardly glory.

We are having to deal with the same riffraff in Ohio.

I'll leave the onions for you. I just want plenty of ground black pepper on hand.

They’ll get the signatures. They’ll scour the college campuses, homeless shelters, inner city, administrative offices for every single profession affected by the new health insurance and pension rules and get the signatures. They will celebrate their path to removing Scotty the Terrible...and get crushed in the actual elections.

There is a large loony base here in my beloved State, but they are more of a minority State wide than they have ever been.

I hope someone comes to my door asking me to sign a recall petition so I can tell them exactly where to stick it and why!

I live near Oakland (used to work and live there 3 years ago) and we have the same Marxist madness of the lunatic fringe, who as you can see, prefer to burn their own cities vs. going to work.

Getting 540,000 signatures shouldn’t be hard. What might be hard is if they have to be actual valid signatures by living residents of Wisconsin who are eligible to vote.

I’ll be sending a check to Walker. In my neck of the woods most folks are fed up with whiny union Democrats and their costly recalls. If they want to waste millions on a recall campaign, cough up the money liberals.

They need to collect at least a million signatures to be safe. To do that in 60 days is a tall order.

But its not like they can wait until 2014 to challenge Walker.
