It’s about time somebody spoke up. Occupy Wall Street and the satellite groups, such as Occupy Richmond, have made headlines for more than a month, while the rest of the world seems to wait around for word on what they will do next.

Not everyone is impressed with the protesters’ methods or strategy, however. Richmond area businessman Floyd Mays decided to make his own commentary by creating a personal message via YouTube video.

Mays, a well-known community leader, invokes the Founding Fathers in his commonsense call to action, which can be viewed at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PS_jsAxkAzA.

The concise video answers key questions such as:

How to have influence if you don’t want to camp in a public park

“We don’t have to Occupy Richmond but we do have to get involved.” Great point, Floyd. Just look at how much better organized the tea party is than this Occupy Wall Street charade. I blame our poor educational system for failing these kids. They don’t know the history of these kinds of protests or what to expect.

Seems to me that the perfect time to initiate a counter protest, even if it is just blowing your car horn, would be when the Darling OWS crowd settles into their tents for the night after a long day of protesting.

These people need a good dose of their own medicine. Ruining their nights rest would exhaust them in no time.

4am would seem to be an excellent time for police to do an extensive drug search. Same for health dept. inspections & garbage collection.

Bullhorn: “Everybody out of the tents. We are here to search for drugs & weapons. No one will be allowed back in their tents until the search is completed. Anyone interfering will be arrested & charged with felony obstruction of justice. Is it chilly out here? Have a nice day!”

A few nights of this & the OWS will be too dazed to speak, much less protest.

It’s time for Bear Bait! To make Bear Bait you need to let fish rot in a large bucket for about 30 days - hotter is good. It turns to a liquid and does it stink. Pour into plastic containers, and then raid the OWS camp sites and pour on their tents & stuff. Make sure you wear your hoody.
