I agree completely with that sentiment, but when you walk into a gun shop, and walk out a few minutes later with your gun(s), it sort of makes you feel a little better about it.

I can buy a pistol in Alaska in a few minutes and carry it concealed right out of the store, without any permit. I feel even better about that.

I would feel that way also. TX is not that free, yet.
