I agree he should stop talking about it. I didn't see this exchange but I hope it wasn't like the youtube exchange I saw from several days ago. When Cain gets testy he looks awful and it's not a side of him that will get him elected. He needs to keep his cool, snile and say he won't talk about it. It's a matter of style and keeping his composure. I mean if he can't keep his cool over this non-issue then he really has no business running for the Presidency.
Considering Cain’s polling data and fund raising data not very many people agree with you
I think most people understand his reaction. People are completely fed up with the punk behavior of reporters. Screaming the same questions over and over while refusing to listen to the answers is making the media look very very stupid.
There is a reason “Journalists” polls only slightly higher then “used car sales man”. The media is busy reminding people why that is in this matter
I see don't bother you with the facts, Cain ain't your guy so the facts don't matter in your world.
I think he’s already blown it. If Cain had answered truthfully when it first came out, instead of lying, “not recalling,” admitting piecemeal and then blaming everyone around him, this thing would never have gotten started.
The fact was there were two complaints against him, they were settled, he knew about this - because he had discussed it with his advisor in 2004 for his earlier run - and he should simply have acknowledged the settlements and apologized for any real or imagined impropriety and moved on to policy (except that he doesn’t have any).
Instead, he pulled a Clinton, attacking the messengers, attacking the victims, and then claiming (without proof) a conspiracy by his rivals against him.
And that’s what kept it going. Nobody would have wanted the details if he had been honest in the first place. And I think he has made the complainants mad; they obviously didn’t want to tell their stories, but sooner or later one of them will. Very possibly the offenses were not anything major, but now everybody’s curious. It won’t go away just because he wants it to.
