You mean like Reagan gave when they became citizen eligible with the stroke of a pen?
That amnesty?
If they work here to keep their families from starving to death, that wouldn’t bother me.
As long as the border was secured, we caught those who tried to escape the system, we didn’t give American citizen jobs away to them, and they did not receive amnesty/citizenship.
In other words, get in line, apply for a work permit, be granted entry for that purpose only, and otherwise remain a citizen of Mexico or whereever you come from.
But then, I’m a real, born and raised, lifelong, thinking Texan.
Not a hobby thread spammer who gets off on insults and lies.
And I also know that prohibition and segregation no longer exist, but they were once the law.
I also know that Roe vs Wade which legalizes abortion on a whim is the law now. And that law should be changed.
Just as immigration laws can be changed to allow certain people to work here, and allow them nothing else.
And I won’t fall for the nonsensical whining you and BobL try to pull...”but we’re only upholding the law”.

You seem to be all over the place. I stand by my point: If you get them to leave (and get rid of the ones that won’t), then they WILL NOT, EVER, get Amnesty. If they stay, they very well may get Amnesty, and there is not a damn thing a retired Perry can do about from his Cintra-provided beach home.
