Occupy DC protesters violently injured peaceful Tea Party go-ers (some elderly) and attemped to force entry into the Washington Convention Center on Friday (Nov 4, 2011), where Americans for Prosperity is hosting their "Defending the American Dream Summit." The protesters also formed roadblocks, surrounding the convention center and only allowing non-luxury cars to pass. Parents with their children were caught in the violence. Some injured... Auto/pedestrian accidents occured as Occupy protestors rushed into the streets hurling profanities at drivers and attempting to block drivers' paths. This has to stop...

I came to the same conclusion myself. I believe that these orders orginate at the White House.
Soros is funding this with obuttface’s approval. Soros, Ayers, Dorhn should become targets. They have done same in Egypt, Libya, Yemen and expect to do it here. It is time to get Soros and Ayers. These bustards are taking our country down.
I preffer grabbing a trash can lid and a random metal bar of some sort and giving them some of my norse Norwegion heritage as well as getting others to do the same. From what I heard he ran out into the street against a light. It was not the motorists’ fault according to police. The injured pedestrian was charged with Obstructing Traffic, and something else - I forget the 2nd charge right now...

If they adequately publicized what these thugs did in D.C., many non-political people would be completely turned off and it would hurt Obama and the dems. So, while they may be publicizing the Occupy movements, they’re not publicizing the dispicable things many of the protesters are doing.
It's probably a good thing I wasn't there this year, because I'd probably be getting into a fight as soon as one of these punks got into the wrong person's face, and I'm not referring to mine.

Yeah, the ones that were hit did run in front of the car from what I have read. I’m talking about the other people who were kept from driving down the road. The one guy rolled his window down and talked to the protester and the reporter was there with the camera and mic. He was not truly endangered.
I can't help but think back that not so long ago how they tried so hard to characterize the Tea Party as these very thugs.
I've always said if you listen to a liberal ...they telegraph their biggest desires. The very things they claim they fear of you...is the very thing they desire to do to you.

True. First off, we’d try to stay out of those areas to avoid confrontation. If caught though, I would just floor it and whatever was in the way would get run over. IF “they” ever got to that point of trying to drag us out threatening our lives, whoever “they” are will be meeting Mr. CZ97BD from my side of the truck and Ms. CZPO1 from the wife’s side. I pray to God it never comes to that.
Getting prepared, educating others (friends and family) - I hope... It’s not like this is in everyone’s backyard yet. Many don’t even see what’s happening - they have no clue. THAT’s the biggest problem. One of the reasons it’s getting violent right this moment is because of Congress investigating all of the scandals perpetrated. Again, most people don’t even know what Obama has done. To do my part to defend liberty I’m trying to rectify that, at least. I’m not just debating this here at FR. I’m actively challenging my counterparts on the other side - even if we aren’t engaging in violent action. There shouldn’t be any problem with defending against the most violent, but there are others to convince of the error of their ideas, too.
Those are just my thoughts on the matter.
As far as defending people in our country, perhaps we need to beef up security at these events to prevent an all-out slaughter? Let people be aware, this isn’t a game, and these violent people are serious. After all the trouble in past years with jihadist extremists and attempted plots they really shouldn’t be this complacent still. It is my opinion that these confrontations WILL escalate.
Well, anyone who has been paying attention certainly knew this was coming, but it is still a shocking visual to the reality and see it unfold/escalate and get nasty before our very eyes.
I can’t imagine what those people inside the building must have been thinking except wishing they were armed.
Also, I saw a follow up to the guy who ran over the protester's at the end of the video....NO CHARGES!!!!
