It was a semi-interesting show. It was not a debate. To bill it as anything similar to Lincoln-Douglas is laughable. It was a symposium featuring two candidates who promise not to “play gotcha”, i.e., debate or disagree.

Right. And I think this is a more desirable format for voters to learn about the candidates and the issues.
