I, too, see a little too much trash around that needs to be seriously investigated before we nominate a man for president.
From the very first post on Free Republic about this ‘problem’ I defended Cain and thought it was probably nothing.
I later became a little concerned when Mr. Cain tried to deflect the charges by accusing other people, particularly Governor Perry (the next day said they were mistaken) then moving to Anderson.
Now, Mr. Cain is becoming testy and cranky with newspeople who ask about it.
He rose on an image of being a nice, affable conservative guy.
President Reagan never allowed himself to get testy with the press and he was accused of everything. He remained genial. Maybe Cain should try walking to a helicopter with his hand over his ear.
Wouldn’t you grow cranky if people spread such nasty lies about you, and reporters assumed these lies to be true?
“I paid for this microphone. . .”
He got pretty upset that day.
