I do listen now and then to Savage; actually, used to listen to him often. But, now prefer the focus that Levin gives to constitutional aspects of the issues, that I have not found on Savage’s program when I’ve tuned in.

So, its with sincere curiosity that I ask what’s up with the barbs between the two.

When one guy came forward last week, the smears and allegations on FR against him were no less than what one would expect from a site like DU, or the politics of personal destruction or the scorched earth. Alinsky would have smiled at those attacks.

"Kill the messengers" is alive and well and is happening from both sides and on FR.

I find the sheer irony of many people here and Savage himself. They complain that no one comes forward, yet when someone comes forward to make a claim they say that person is a liar, fake, and make fun of her, etc. I can see why no one would come forward.

The hypocriscy is stunning. And if this was a democrat being accused most FReepers would be dancing in the streets saying he was guilty, guilty, guilty. AND if allred was representing a republican you can bet your bippy FReepers would think she was brilliant especially her use of the "stimulus package" play on words.

Jealousy perhaps? Levin did defend Savage when it was known that Savage had been banned in England, Savage otoh IIRC has never said anything good about Levin or any other host, except I think Cunningham and Ingraham, he did have a pet name for ingraham but I don’t recall what it is.

I don't know...you may be right, but listening to the talking heads on the right, I've never heard this (still low) level of mention regarding Barry's past, his B.C., his Connecticut SSN#, etc.

Savage is still going on about it, just now with an African American listener/caller.

It's rather unprecidented save for perhaps a few days there in 2008 when he had Phil Berg on.

I suspect if they keep ripping Cain, we may see more on these issues from Savage et. al. Guess time will tell.

Well, I wonder if Savage will cover the other breaking story of the day, the conviction of Dr. Conrad Murray for involuntary manslaughter of Michael Jackson.

Timing is everything (to me).

Cain was a Senate candidate...NO Bimbo Eruption. He was a longtime fill in talk show host...NO claims against him to the station(s). He has gone around the country as a motivational speaker...and again. Nothing. How long has Cain been running? And NOT a peep...until...HE STARTS LEADING IN THE POLLS!

This stinks to me. I believe he will (like Justice Thomas—black man=sexual predator) survive this...and that ought scare the left more than he already does. They (left) playing with fire and going to get burned.
