How dare you suggest that
granola head organic snake oil salesmen
should be honest about their product! /sarc

(what follows is not directed to you, exDemMom)

This is eco-green crapola no different than globaloney man-made warming. If its it a person’s hobby, then just say so, but it is always dishonestly couched as the healthy alternative to something evil. A crisis. The sky is falling. Something else to spend money on. I don’t have time or patience to assist and subsidize people who want to luxuriate in their hobbies.

Unless a person will be paying cash for all treatment in a fully private hospital (subsidized not at all by the government) when their family gets severely ill due to e-coli or listeria or jaundice from the raw milk, then damn right its my business to denounce this non-scientific feel-good back-to-nature ideology that is shared by the enviro-whackos.

Given the same cow, pasteurization alone has no effect on the nutrition, taste or texture of that cow’s milk. Its the homogenization of that same milk (pasteurized or not) that changes that same milk’s nutrition, taste and texture. It is dishonest to conflate the two processes (Past. & Homog.).

And if a person does like the taste and texture of non-homogenized milk, then they stir a little heavy cream into a glass of homogenized milk.

I really pity people who make such things a priority in their lives. It reminds me of Oprah.

This. Exactly.

They act as if all these EEEEVVILLL “chemicals” (hint: that’s what the world is MADE OF, genius) are killing everyone.

Well, excuse me for being in highly populated areas all my life with low access to “natural” products, but I’m not seeing or even hearing about people dying at young ages all the time due to XXXX or YYYY “chemical poisoning”.

It’s ludicrous.

You are certainly an ardent liar, and propagandist for death!

You drag up every false assertion that has ever been put to print in an attempt to reduce our population through erosion of the quality of our food.

A walking bible of iniquity.

I disagree. When I was a kid, and my mother went through a phase where she was giving us only raw milk, I found the flavor quite different (and unpleasant). Thank goodness that phase ended when she found a dead fly in her glass of milk.

There is a farm a few miles away that sells pasteurized non-homogenized milk in glass bottles. So, at least around here, people who want the experience of shaking their milk can have it.
