FOX News / AP ^ | November 08, 2011 | Associated Press

Posted on 11/08/2011 5:07:33 AM PST by mazda77

In his only public appearance of the day, Cain told Kimmel during the late-night interview that he got angry and disgusted as he watched Bialek and Allred. He said his wife didn't watch it but that he called her immediately afterward.

I have lost all respect for Fox. They are intentionally promoting Romney, dissing Cain mercilessly(see; Rove, Hume and Kraut) and making no effort to hide their love of all things Mitt.

Are they so out of touch that they don’t see what is happening outside of their beltway bubble cave? Do they understand that they are going to look very, very stupid when Cain/Gingrich or Gingrich/Cain prevail?

I am so impressed with Gingrich and how he is supporting his friend who is under attack. People are tired of the GOP candidate backbiting and will respond positively to the respectful relationship they are displaying.

Team Cain KNEW what was coming, but seemingly, chose to ignore it.

For a Freeper you are surprisingly ill informed.

From his own lips.......... Cain made a conscious decision not to respond to anonymous accusations.

Cain driving. And Laura Ingraham just had a good point. If the story is true, and after the “incident”, she asked Cain to drive her back to her hotel and he “complied”..Why would a woman who was allegedly staved off a sexual advance..stay in the car with him and ask her to drive him back to her hotel? Ridiculous.

“Cain should say she came on to him”.

Good idea, Dansong. And she looks like a floozy which would corraborate that possibility.
Watch for Gloria to notice that her boobs were erupting out the top of her blouse during one photo op...and in no time at all, she’ll be wearing a Peter Pan round collar white cotton one instead.
She can call Jose Baez and ask him where he got Casey’s.

I’m actually speaking of the “settlement” that was paid by the NRA to the two women. That’s what I think he should have disclosed early on.

We have a conservative actually fighting back.

But what is sad is nobody is helping him, taking his back. If he were a Democrat, all you would see is "Snake Head" screaming over and over about the slut women making it up. But he is a Republican so he gets to twist in the wind.

More power to him if he can weather this. He gets my vote.

Larry Sinclair was under oath in his affidavit, and had gay bar name, taxi service, and a highly believable story. I think we are not shocked that our president is a little gay, nor that he is all about himself. I might have had trouble with believing the cocaine but it was so highly specific. If Sinclair made that up, he might have had them both sniffing it. But he puts Barack getting crack for himself, and smoking it from a little crack pipe our IL senator kept in his pocket.

Sinclair met Obama by telling his middle eastern limo driver he’d like to find someone to “show him the town,” and the driver knew just what he meant. Went to the gay bar and came out with Obama, who apparently was happy to cruise around with this white out of towner! Like a girl down at the docks!

Because he was not party to ANY settlement. NRA confirmed that on Friday. In fact, the agreement (I say agreement because this was NOT a lawsuit settlement) was reached AFTER Cain left.

He was telling the truth. He did not know they had this agreement until someone told him later in the day.

And by the way, as far as we know, there was only one agreement/settlement. Politico and NYT said there were two, but I have yet to see anyone credible confirm that.

Politico walked back the “second woman” this weekend too, saying that they only spoke with her once and have not been able to reach her since.

I am suspicious there even WAS a second accuser, to be honest. Politico has blown their credibility on any of this.

The way for him to weather it is to donate! Money talks!

It’s the last chance before nov 2012 to get a conservative in the WH. Otherwise our nominee is Romney and our president is Obama! We can all spare $9.99 to spend to get him in office. Today is more important than last week.

Yes, please donate! Some of us have maxed out and we need others to step up.

If you wish, you can call Gloria Allred and let her know her story reminded you to donate to Cain: 323-302-4773

Cain made a conscious decision not to respond to anonymous accusations.

But he did say first and foremost - which is what I wanted to hear - that he NEVER sexually harassed ANYONE.

He denied doing anything, and said the claims were found to have no merit. After that, there is nothing more for him to say.

The only way he loses my support is if he is PROVEN to be a liar. Otherwise this is all calumny.

cain was a genuine person with his warm personality
and direct approaches to everything.

however, things started to go south when he started
to not face problems head on:
. politico gave him a 10-day notice, and the way he
handled it was not good at all.
. first, he said: there was no settlement, and if they
were, he hoped it was not much.
. the next day he said: there was an agreement, and
trying to explain it was not an agreement.

imo, the press conference today will not do him
any good very much. i know many would disagree with me,
but he is going the wrong way, because i watched the
kimmel show last night, and i already know what he
is going to say today in the news conference.
he keeps denying everything when we all know there
is definitely something happened.
