I believe this is the same Karen Kraushaar- if so, she used to be a spokeswoman for the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS). Quoted in this 2002 Human Events original article (”INS Lowballed Deportation Evaders”):

Has anyone asked this guy if he is related in any way to the woman who made the claim against Cain? I don’t want to repeat others’ work, but am interested in hearing/reading his answer.
