here's the reality of the situation... we are running out of alternatives...

so we either go with Cain who is almost certainly innocent of these frivolous charges, or we have only Newt left ... who is on his third wife after cheating on the other two and even delivered divorce papers to the first while she was in the hospital for cancer. It doesn't really make a lot of sense to me to dump one man for unproved allegations, and choose as an alternative a man with a well documented and proven record of infidelity. I would love Newt to be part of the Cain administration, and I think Cain/Newt would be a winning ticket, but I think Cain has to be at the top of that ticket.

"..or we have only Newt left ... "

So...in your mind there are only the two choices?

“even delivered divorce papers to the first while she was in the hospital for cancer.”

Absolutely NOT TRUE.

I’m not a Newt fan but the “divorce papers served in the hospital” story has been debunked several times.....the latest in the last week or so.

Newt’s baggage, IMO, isn’t as big as his stand for GW, his attack on Paul Ryan’s healthcare re-do plan, and in the Scuzzafava race.

But, I could support him.

I agree. My enthusiasm for Newt has waned over the past few weeks. I’m starting to see the pervasive pattern of bad judgment that some conservatives have warned about.

It started a few weeks ago when I watched him defend ethanol in a campaign speech because it’s “American.” NO! We’re burning our food supply for an utter failure of a fuel. But I let that slide since I’m willing to disagree with a candidate on a certain number of issues.

Then he said that the race would come down to him and Romney. To brush off Herman’s candidacy and then try to pal around with him is duplicitous.

Yesterday, Newt said that Herman owed his accuser and the American people an explanation. Why does Herman owe the lying bimbo anything? Joining hands with the left-wing media in this sort of thing does not inspire confidence.

Today, in a video of Newt taking questions from a Fox panel, I saw him claim to not know whether global warming is happening. With his razor-sharp intellect and unparalleled grasp of the facts, I simply refuse to believe that for a second. He’s either covering up his liberal view on the subject or taking a politically expedient position. Neither is acceptable.

Would it be good or bad for Cain and Newt to announce this right now to change the discussion? Cain needs to find a way to get this sex crap off the front page. Every sex joke I have heard on TV or radio has "herman cain" as the punchline. The DBM assassination has done its damage.

>>>even delivered divorce papers to the first while she was in the hospital for cancer.<<<

Which I now understand to also be a smear without any truth to it. The left is despicable.
