Thanks for stepping up and saying what I've been thinking.

One of my closest friends was sexually assaulted (the real kind, not the faux outrage) when she was much younger. 30 years later, she still has nightmares about it.

Since then, she has had to deal with harassment issues in the workplace, and has either blown them off or shut them down herself, without making any complaints. Like you, she says that compared to what she experienced long ago, it's insignificant.

Sounds similar to my story.

It just makes me so angry to hear these women lie about being “harassed” because it hurts women(or men) who are REALLY going thru it...

They already got paid for the great emotional upheaval and trauma supposedly caused by Mr Cain, so what is the point?

Besides, Bill Clinton set the bar real high when it comes to being offended by a sexual innuendo-heck-he did the deed and got away with it!

These women get no pity from me and I think most Americans see thru their charade simply because they already got reimbursed a year’s pay for their supposed trauma.

And if I were a guy, I would be really pee-od; once again, a conservative straight guy was accused of being offensive....that’s hetero-phobic.

Hope your friend is well; I had a bad night last night myself...maybe I would feel better if somebody paid me..;)
