I’m sure the France would like to have Mitt at president of the United States.

He speaks French.

Maybe Huntsman can be his VP.

He speaks Mandarin Chinese.

I was embarrassed for Rick hated to see that happen but in these debates you have to be on your A game and he’s really having trouble. I like him and have defended him against all the shots he gets for his handling of the Texas border, being from Texas and having spent many years along the border I feel I have fair knowledge of what he and the citizens of Texas are really facing. With that said I’m afraid it’s time for him to get back to Texas and get back to work. I like Herman Cain and there is no doubt in my mind he would make a fine president but I’m not sure he will be able to withstand the barrage he’s receiving, it doesn’t look like it’s easing up. Newt has been a little shaky in the past but I think he’s learned his lesson well, his past marital problems are not a concern to me hell I’ve had my own. Newt knows government in and out and has the best overall qualification of any of the other candidates. As for Mitt he’s the one that’s easiest for me to dismiss for the simple fact that I just don’t trust him.

Still shilling that worn-out Perry spinner talking point, I see - that Perry was the only alternative to Romney.

Rick keeps swinging and missing. Turns out he was NO alternative - you don't get to run the bases if you can't even put the ball into play. Meanwhile both Cain AND Newt are surging. Looks like there are two, count 'em, TWO viable alternative candidates emerging - and Perry ain't one of them.

Wifey,

You are the best advocate that perry could ever have hoped for on FR, but perry needs to put down the shovel, ask for a ladder and climb out of the hole.

He is probably a very good governor for Texas, and since it's his third term, the people of Texas must agree with that.

Under the pressure of these game show debates, he cracks, and it's not just last night, it is every single time.

I think he loses his train of thought because he doesn't have core beliefs in what he is saying, he is trying to repeat some lines that sounded good in a practice debate, and the heat and lights and stress make him forget his lines that sounded so good in practice.

It's just like his first major gaffe, "heartless" he said it because he believes it, and when he found out how conservatives felt, he was out on a limb, and the stumbles and mumbles began.

The msm is doing their best to wear Herman Cain out, but perry is doing it to himself.

I was {among other things} a VP of sales and on many occasions had to speak {from a script} in front of a very large {but friendly} audience and it was always high pressure.

Public speaking under the best conditions is not that easy, but in an adversarial surrounding, with the candidacy for President of the USA on the line, must be unbelievable.
