You speak of AnAnbar Province. My son was in Ramadi the day of the first free vote—the purple finger vote—standing guard. Not so many came to vote in Ramadi, but he was proud to have been part of the fight to free Iraq. My cousin was badly injured in the second battle of Fallujah. We are proud of the Marines in our family. And we thank God for the Navy Corpsman who operated on my cousin in firefight conditions, to save his life.
