Good morning, Biglook. On my mother's side of the family my four-greats grandfather is supposed to have served in the Revolution but I haven't bee able to substantiate that.

Aloha kakahiaka, Doc!

It'll be tough figuring out who served on the American side during the Revolutionary War since scant records were kept by the Continental Congress then.....just some pay stubs and that's if the men ever got paid. Besides there just four standing continental armies led by Washington, Gates, the Marquis de Lafayette. Lincoln and Arnold (and we all know how that turned out) and the rest were haphazard militias protecting their homes with only local organization and leadership. Best place to discover who did what would be in old family bibles (if you can find them) and old cemetery's grave markers.

Family comes first.
