Sandusky still had an office on campus THIS YEAR. Imagine what must have gone through Paterno’s and McQueary’s minds when they saw Sandusky with young boys, obviously “grooming” them for more molestation.

THEY KNEW.

At least with Cub Scouts, every Den Leader, pretty much has his own son in the Den.

And he’s been told his entire life by the media and his “educators” that homosexual activity is healthy and normal.

<><><><

Having graduated 3 kids from public schools since 2000, I can tell you that the kids know the difference between homosexual activity and rape.

What some lack is a understanding of how to deal with abuse of power.

Amazing that the truth here - that this is a “Gay” scandal - isn’t getting out via the Drive-Bys. I believe Rush eluded to this yesterday.

Does anyone on here believe that the NCAA should mete out the death penalty to PENN ST for this? After all, if a school can be given the death penalty for ‘recruiting violations,’ then why not for this? If the death penalty does not happen, we will know FOR SURE that our society is NOT about ‘protecting the kids.’

We’ll see how big and tough he is when he goes to prison.

Unfortunately, a relative of mine spent time in prison. He assures me that the stories about the utter hatred and contempt your average prisoner has for child rapists/molesters/killers is 100% true. They are the lowest of the low. They are beaten, tortured, and raped repeatedly. The food they are served is often spoiled and contaminated with bodily waste in an effort to make them violently ill. In some cases, slip and fall’s don’t you know, they turn up dead.

If Jerry Sandusky ends up in prison(because he hasn’t commited suicide), he will wish he had never been born.

Per the grand jury report, Sandusky’s first known offense occurred in his early 50s. Did he control his pedophile urges until then? Seems highly unlikely to me. One of his well-known former players claims he never saw Sandusky curse, drink alcohol, or miss church, so anything’s possible. I hope whatever church he attended instilled in him a fear of taking his own life, because prison will be a hell for him.

WTF is WRONG with these people?

Same thing that got us the Ft. Hood shootings: these people fear for their careers in a PC world. Making an accusation that places the accuser into a protected group, like homosexuals or mulsims, is a high rish move.

People have to feed their families, and can't if they are blackballed for non-PC behavior in their chosen field.

At some point, though, “I’m afraid of getting fired” just doesn’t cut it. The PC crap is enabled to continue when people forsake moral courage in favor of having an easy life.

I don’t agree with it - just pointing out the price we as a society pay for a PC world. All kids past the first one he was witnessed with are victims of PC and the fear it instills in people. In a non-PC world, we would have read of his arrest and conviction long ago.

Agreed. What it takes to break this cycle is people who show moral courage in the face of it.

Of course, there is also the question of why law enforcement did nothing with this, even after it was known what Sandusky had done.

Sometimes I think everybody in LE should be required to study under Sheriff Joe.

How came there to be a grand jury which investigated this? What finally broke the PC circle on this one?

George and abc news are worried about a homosexual pedophile? Nope....something else is going on here. Where’s Barney?

Exactly. Clinton stink is all over this, and their shills are out howling at the moon. Their cover story, ironically (and typically) enough, is the fact that this is a legitimate horror. But those genuine flames are being fanned by shills and operatives, and the "leak" of the info was managed and timed. This smells like a Hillary attack against college football and deep US traditions, just like she's smeared baseball for so long.

Mark my words, the Bitch is maneuvering for the huge number of centrist-right female votes that are wobbling in RINOland - that's why none of the reports talk about fathers, only mothers of the victims. Against what? Big bad abusive football men. Hillary thinks in blocks, like her followers. To see what she's doing you have to drink a few beers, fuzz your eyes and bang your head into a wall until everything blurs to the level of normal liberal thinking. Then you'll see it.

A couple of people have mentioned the ‘H’ word. This story, from August of this year:

Penn State recently aced the LGBT-Friendly Campus Climate Index with a five-star rating, one of only 33 universities out of 300 participating to receive top honors.

Clear Case, Boy Scout leaders need to take training, are never, ever allowed to be one-on-one with a kid and have an annual background check.

There are specific reporting requirements that go directly to the top of council leadership then immediately to the authorities.

The training is also public and available online. It’s called Youth Protection and is available for other organizations to use at no cost.

In fact, I think mine is expiring soon and I need to retake it.

EVERYONE associated with the program will be gone at the end of the season

All employed by the university are part of a government union, are they not? People talk about the homosexual angle - it needs to be talked about. But people need to remember the university union/tenure angle. Enablers, all of them...

“These days, a “single mom” is simply a woman who chose not to obligate the father of her children by demanding marriage and commitment. And there’s no stigma attached.”

Or she is a woman whose husband walked out on her for another woman, whose boyfriend exited, stage left when he learned she was pregnant and didn’t want to abort, whose sperm donor was with her one night and on to his next conquest the next day....

I have heard young men, who claim to be believers, tell me, with a straight face, that if they get a woman pregnant, getting married for the reason of the woman’s pregnancy is one of the worst reasons to be married.

This woman owned up to her responsibility to take care of her kid. Daddy didn’t, so far as we know, he’s long since left the picture.

Clearly, Sandusky sought out fatherless children. I found it interesting that all these boys said the contact with Sandusky started during the second year in the Second Mile program. Sandusky carefully scoped these boys out. He took them pretty much everywhere with him, even to out of state bowl games.

The whole thing is so sick.
