I was making a point about the students. The damage to the children will bankrupt Penn State.

And I doubt Gloria Allred will be involved.

They need to get rid of the perps and anyone associated with them. This is what political correctness buys you in the long run. This and the frauds in the physics department faking global warming data. They need to get rid of those perps too.

He was offered the head coach position at the University of Virginia. No he wasn't. He may have come close, though.
Terry Holland, UVas athletic director 11 years ago, interviewed Sandusky at least twice as a possible replacement for Cavalier head coach George Welsh before deciding on Al Groh.

This fiasco is the inevitable result of the practice of not reporting crimes to the police in order to avoid institutional embarrassment.
I am not convinced that football or Joe Paterno had anything to do with it. Just wait, the proposed "solution" to the problem will be make pedophilia a special case with mandatory reporting while Universities will still be able to cover up everything else they want.
I see that Penn is already laying the groundwork for this by creating an "ethics" office.
