Ron Paul is the only one serious about making cuts.
And that includes the defense budget.
Most Conservatives understand that we have really serious spending troubles, but they don’t want to make cuts in defense spending.
I personally care more about cuts than anything else.
Other Conservatives believe that cuts are very important, but Israel’s defense is also important.

We've discussed Ron Paul before. I will never, ever support Ron Paul; I detest a lot of what he says and does.
I admire your sincerity, but Ron Paul is not a viable option.
