This is the line that diverts any blame for our own governments policies. Missing is the fact that whatever the Europeans are doing wrong, we are on the same track, and are doing the same things. Lookout Greece: here we come!
After all, for years our intelligentsia has been telling us, Do it the way the Europeans do. Apparently, now that is not the best advice.

Here's my view: The U.S. economy went into the dumper because of government sponsored housing policies (read socialism), It has remained stagnant due to Obama's policies (read socialism), Europe has become a basket case due to socialism (read socialism). There is a pattern if you choose to look.
