The Real Case Against Sexual Harassment
American Spectator ^ | 11/9/11 | LISA FABRIZIO

Posted on 11/12/2011 7:49:47 AM PST by rhema

When not busy going after Herman Cain, the media bombards us nonstop with unwanted sexual inuendo, banter, and other forms of lasciviousness.

Here we go again. A powerful, intelligent and charismatic conservative black man seeks high office in the United States of America, and is subject to the scurrilous slings and arrows that are always deflected from their liberal counterparts by the shields of the mainstream media. In our nation, where the election of Barack Obama might have signaled the end of endless claims of racism, the oldest stereotype of black men has once again reared its ugly head: it seems that black men are rapacious and insatiable satyrs; conservative black men, that is. And the latest target is Herman Cain.

Now I don't know anything about Mr. Cain's past, but in America, at least for the time being, a man is innocent until proven guilty, and sometimes, as in the case of Bill Clinton, even afterwards. Cain has repeatedly denied all claims of sexual harassment, but this is not good enough for the bloodhounds in the liberal media; a group who fastidiously and exhaustively combed the details of George W. Bush's personal background -- remember the demand for the release of his military dental records? -- yet yawns complacently and/or howls indignantly when questions surrounding the history of Barack Obama are raised. No, instances of media double standards are almost too tedious to recount.

Yet what never fails to entertain is the media's horror which attaches itself to accusations like those against Cain. As Rush Limbaugh often points out: it's not whether or not a crime has been committed (by a conservative), it's the seriousness of the charge. And in this nation, whose laws have been over-influenced by radical feminists and their ambulance-chasing accomplices, there is none so serious

Thanks for this posting....It is my hope that Cain uses this to push for tort reform and makes a serious case to support it.

Regarding the Sandusky affair, everyone’s saying, ‘if you see something, say something.’

All very well, but ask the Teaching Assistant who will probably lose his job and is a victim of hate at Penn State.

Or ask the women who saw something and said something about Cain. They’ve become the victims just as all of Clinton’s accusers became the victims.

And, Rick Perry has already passed tort reform in Texas, by the way.

Fabrizio's larger point, though, is this:

. . . we are now daily faced with enacting laws protecting people's feelings based on membership in whatever group to which they belong rather than concentrating on defending our rights as enumerated in the U.S. Constitution. How can we set standards governing sexual behavior in the workplace when the same or worse goes on continuously all around us?. . . The truth is, I and millions of Americans are being harassed nearly every time we open our eyes, with unwanted and unwelcome sexual advances over our publicly owned airwaves and in the schoolrooms we pay for. And, unlike many women who claim to be victims of workplace persecution, we do not have the opportunity to simply quit and walk away from it all.

Stop telling lies, name the woman you claim saw something, name her or sit down and shut up.

Cain has repeatedly denied all claims of sexual harassment, but this is not good enough for the bloodhounds in the liberal media...

But, but, but - when we objected - said Clinton had a credible rape (according to the FBI) charge against him that was being ignored - the 'press' said it was 'only about sex' ...

When we saw Clinton hitting on a teenage intern working in the White House - the 'press' didn't care about the power differential ... they called her nuts.

Now the 'press' cares? Yeah - right. The only principle the modern day press operates under is ' who's ox is being gored'... They've earned the contempt Americans feel toward them.

Sexual harassment is a scheme lawyers use so they can act like pimps and pornographers do and cash in on a woman's body.

However, the pimps and pornographers are not so low because they are not as hypocritically self righteous about it as the lawyers are.

The only reason I have a TV set is to watch the golf, Adrianne Rogers, Charles Stanley and john Hagee. Nearly all the rest is trash, and lies to pull morals down and brainwash the viewers. If I still had children in my hone I would not own a television set. Even children’s shows are detrimental!

There is no longer honor in any form of media. There is only agenda. This has been true from about thirty years now.

I am in my 80’s now, but I was very attractive when I was younger. Some people say I am still quite attractive.

Early on I worked in a lumber brokerage where the men all around me deliberately talked off color stuff until I stood up and told them if they didn’t shut their mouths around me I would quit! That worked like a charm! In fact I had their respect from that point on.

It wouldn’t have occurred to me to sue anyone. Some Men were rude men, and it was up to me how far anything went. And I had to fight off the men later, when I was in Real Estate, but I survived as a Christian mother of three. So why are these bimbos out to get their pound of flesh from Herman Cain? Don’t tell me it isn’t politically motivated! Are any of these blonds Republican? I don’t think so!

Do not be taken in by the leftist media! Herman Cain is their worst nightmare! If you’ve read his book, “This is Herman Cain”, ($14.70 at Costco) you will know without a doubt that this man of Christian character is innocent of any sordid hanky panky!

He will ruin the Left’s diabolic agenda!

Bears repeating:

The truth is, I and millions of Americans are being harassed nearly every time we open our eyes, with unwanted and unwelcome sexual advances over our publicly owned airwaves and in the schoolrooms we pay for.

The TV content getting worse, even the ads. . . God help our kids who watch this rot. At it's heart, it's just brainwashing to recruit 'new activists.'

Been thinking about the whole OWS mess. . More brainwashing for the under 30 crowd, then crown Romney and constantly repeat the meme he's a 'wall street guy.' . .

This just in: CAIN reportedly was seen in the shower with a young boy.

(I sure hope I do NOT have to come back and explain this as MOCKERY and/or SATIRE!)

Yup, ‘wall street guy,’ ‘religion’ and MSM and we have another 4 years of Obama. This may be the last chance for patriotic Americans to take our country back. .
