No one knows what the DA in 1998 was still doing, but it is a safe bet he never gave up on getting the bastard and that is why someone there killed him.

Ray Gricar had a reputation for helping battered women and abused children. It was his soft spot. He often went out of his way to get justice for these people. He also followed up with them to maintain their safety in many instances.
This was a man who, if he had sunk his teeth into this, was like a pit bull. If he realized that sandusky was the tip of a very big iceberg, then you can bet he was into it.

The Discover I.D. Channel has a program called “Disappeared” that runs on Monday nights and the repeats run at other times throughout the week. It is also available on youtube under the subject of “Disappeared Ray Gricar.” It’s a pretty good show-I recommend that you watch it. It focuses on the Gricar case and presents the facts of the investigation in a timeline and also has interviews with investigators and family members. They present several possible scenarios (I won’t mention them so I won’t spoil it if you watch it). It runs about 50 min. long.

After watching this show a couple months ago it bothered me for days after. I couldn’t stop thinking about why this man just disappeared. I don’t think the Penn State scandal had anything to do with it (just my opinion,I kinda agree with one of the scenarios from the show, but I could change it if other info comes to light)-—it’s just a very mysterious and baffling case.

Agreed, but I doubt his death really has anything to do with this.

Once you’re involved in a cover-up, after a very short time you are a criminal, the longer you cover, the bigger criminal you are.

Sandusky started in ‘77. Does anyone think NOTHING happened between ‘77 and ‘98? Early cover up’s lead to more and more “Minor” cover-ups until everyone has to cover-up major cover-ups to hide the earlier minor ones.

That’s when they finally figure out the “minor” ones were in fact never “minor”.
