With MSNBC posting this article it looks like the DemonRat powers that be are getting ready to throw the OWS crowd under the bus. Most notable are the remarks of Larry Reid, Oakland City Council President, FTA:

City Council President Larry Reid said outside City Hall that the shooting was further proof the tents must come down. He was confronted by a protester who said he wouldn't be in office much longer.

"You didn't elect me," Reid snapped back. "You probably ain't even registered to vote!"

Reid said the encampment has been a major setback for the area while attracting sex offenders, mentally ill and homeless people, and anarchists.

"This is no longer about Occupy Wall Street," he said. "This is about occupying Oakland and extracting whatever you can get out of Oakland by holding our city hostage.

Reid, by the way, is Afro-American.

Good for Mr. Reid. He doesn't look like a man to be trifled with...

You can't shut these things down. It's like spilling a petri dish that's been sitting for two months.

They need to be quarantined.

Given their behavior so far, I wouldn’t be surprised to see them start sneaking bodies out to dump them elsewhere. Hell they don’t want to report rape.

"This is no longer about Occupy Wall Street"

As if that was a good thing. The propaganda is insidious and unending. Take a long walk on a short pier, Larry Reid.

Since the MSM likes to compare the Occupy Wall Street crowd to the Tea Party...........

Can we compare how many shootings have happened at Tea Party events vs. Occupy Wall Street?

How many sexual assaults?

How many drug deals gone bad?

How much violence in general?

How many Tea Party protests involved vandalism against enemies, real and imagined, destroying business property of people such as small business owners?

Yet the Tea Party is allegedly violent and racist................

(”There will be a variety of tactics used,” said organizer Adriane DeJerk, 26. “No social movement has ever been successful while being completely peaceful.”)

I suppose it depends on what you call a “social movement.” The Industrial Revolution? The many American mass migrations to settle new territory? If by social movement “De-jerk” means socialism, then, she’s correct. Nobody worth their salt would give into another French Revolution with a guillotine for all us “rich” folks. The kind of chaos these people want should be resisted with whatever violence they insist on using. If they throw firebombs, the police are justified in shooting back. There should be no ridiculous “courageous restraint” exercised so police are permanently scared or killed while the protesters go on to be honored, tenured professors of English at some major university.

Adriane’s surname is most appropriate.
