There’s been an update - a senior Iranian military official, Brigadier General Tehrani Moqaddam, head of a Revolutionary Guard unit tasked with developing indigenous designs of missiles, was killed in the blast. And it seems like some reports indicate that the base might have housed Iranian Shahab-3 theater ballistic missiles.
