I would expect any candidate to change his position when the facts are no longer established as such...especially when neither side of any issue can prove their position one way or another in the area of global warming. But of course the climate is always changing so that's simply a term the liberals hyjacked, but in reality we all are aware of seasonal changes...and many also recognize these changes have been occurring for years....up and down and such. Just goes with the planet and how it works.

Cain doesn't have enough information accessible to him to make decisions about foreign affairs,..or his campaign isn't getting it to him,... but he should have had at least the basics....he didn't ...and used his standard ‘safe’ response when he doesn't know what he's talking about...and he didn't.

Cain's got to up his game in that respect just to acquire the basics...so far he hasn't... and this knowing full well the topic was on foreign affairs...he chose to basically refrain..and that's just getting old IMO. Obama pulled that as well with his voting record....”Present”.

It's looking more and more like Cain bit off more than he can chew....and that's playing out. Even so I think Newt will bring him along as he's done thus far...and Cain knows this.

Newt had many successes he pulled off...more importantly lead them but often others took credit for...Clinton comes to mind...and so with Newt as Pres. I would expect he of course will have a cabinet of people he knows has a grasp on International Affairs...he already knows who they are.
Cain has to stumble around finding them at this point...or they come to him...which is risky as he doesn't know who is friend or foe...Newt does.

You seem not to want to recognize the fact that on foreign affairs every “expert” in the debate had a position that differed from every other “expert”.

Ands then there is the matter of TARP, the stimulus, mandatory medical insurance, ...the list is very long.

Newt is smart. Newt is able to think out of the box but Newt is not a conservative.

You also gloss over the idea that our founding fathers were of the belief that we would get better government from those who served only for a short time and then went home.

The professional pol will put his future in government over the good of the country every single time.

There is an expose at the present on how those in DC have enriched themselves at the public trough through insider trading, deals, etc.,

That is why many go to DC. That is where the money is.
