So you would need to be physically forced into paying a speeding ticket if you get one? If a cop intends to pull you over, you would have to be forced off the road physically and won't stop your car until he does something like use tire spikes or a PIT maneuver?

If I didn't want to comply badly enough, yes.

Or have you never seen how cops have to pit fleeing criminals? That is proof enough that the police cannot force someone to do anything without actual force being applied.

Now, for me, my rational self-interest would tell me that it's not worth trying it. But that's *ME* deciding that I should do what the police say. Not the police, *ME*.

Why wouldn't you want to comply with the law? And what does this have to do with the fact that there are other ways to get people to do what one wants without physical force?
