I continue to be amazed at how many people in this culture, and most especially those on the right, seem to have completely and totally psychologically surrendered to the government. These are the phrases I keep hearing: ....[Part 2 follows right below Part 1].

Pretty awesome gal.
Good for her. It’s time s omeone started telling it the way it is.
I’ll add my own personal pet peeve to the list: when someone on this board says “Let’s gather and take action!” and we get dozens of replies along the lines of “Well, we can’t because we’ve got jobs to go to unlike the people on the Left.” To me, that’s like saying “I’d like to fight against my own enslavement, but Massa has work for me to do.”
GOOD FOR HER
Hmmmm, open defiance seems to work for the left.
A woman with a spine and a pair. Too bad, Presidential candidates could use the same.
Hooray for this woman. Nothing had better happen to her.
“It is our right and our DUTY to throw off this government. It is not legitimate and does not possess the consent of the governed,...”
Nuts. It is our right and duty to take back government from those who use it illegitimately, and use it for its legitimate purposes. Our government is a system, an organization, legitimate in and of itself but put to illegitimate uses. Our government is not the people who populate the system. They are replaceable.
well said. some of us here are past fear. at the bottom of what the author describes is fear. “fear is the mind killer.” animals, children act out of fear. when you act out of fear, you are most likely making errors; though you think you are being clever, you are not thinking clearly.
for example, i notice that some people here are driven by fear of obama. i don’t fear obama. IMO, the republican collective is doing far more damage to us than the statists are at this point. the statists are done. they just need to delay at this point.
i don’t fear 4 more years of obama or 100 more years. he or any statist can never reach me. never touch me. the only thing they can do is harm my family. my family is the only thing now (that the country is gone) that i have to work to protect.
advance liberty in every small way you can. fight tyranny in every small way you can. have faith in God. God cancels fear. prepare for the collapse (if that is His will). when i do that, i can sleep at night.
I assume you are quitting your job tomorrow? Put you money where your rather large mouth is?
Psst......, do you realize just how whipped that sounded?

I admire her, but defying the IRS is a ticket to ruin and prison.
Which is okay if you don’t have kids. I have children myself. I grew up in poverty and misery, and I swore when I had them that my children would have a happy childhood. I am willing to grovel before the forces of Evil if it means my little ones can grow up in peace. It’s humiliating, but I’m willing to wait until my little ones are grown up before I make a stand.
Of course, there is a limit to my willingness to debase myself. There is a line past which I will not go. I hope we don’t cross it before bmy kids are grown and gone.
I’m afraid she’s painted herself into a pretty tight corner, and I wish her luck. Uncle Sam likes to make an example out of those who say “no” to the Taxman.
Ann Barnhardt
Ann is quite good at forestalling disagreement: if you disagree with her you are a whipped loser (and unsaved, to boot!).
Nope. Good luck to you.
I don’t care.
