Still waiting on Gloria Allred and the man expected to support accuser Sharon Bialek’s claims against presidential hopeful Herman Cain.

Witness is Dr. Victor Zuckerman of Ruston’s Northern Louisiana Medical Center.

Zuckerman says while he was dating Bialek she was recruited to work for National Restaurant Association. Says during 1997 NRA convention Sharon

“I remember Sharon saying that she and Mr. Cain had been to many of the same events during this week.”

Zuckerman says she said she had sat next to him at some events. had opportunity to speak with him at length.

“She told me I needed to meet this man of wit ,of wartmth and of great speaking abilities,” Zuckerman said.

Zuckerman says he paid for Bialek’s travel and hotel costs to Washington meeting with Cain.

Said he did not upgrade the hotel suite.

Later, he learned from Bialek that something disturbing had happened during Bialek’s meeting with Cain.

She told Zuckerman that she had handled it and did not want to talk about it further.

Zuckerman says he is not making a “political statement.” Allred taking questions from press.

Allred: “Our agenda is to give all the facts so the voters can make an informed decision.”

Allred: “I don’t think it’s a crime or anything to be ashamed of because she has financial problems.”

In response to another question about Cain:

“He wants to end this? He needs to come clean. “
